LIANG holds a Master of Architecture from Columbia University. He is the founder of LAIBA (Beijing) Architecture & Landscape Design Consulting Co., Ltd., and serves as an expert member of the Special Talent Pool at the China Academy of Building Research. His design philosophy centers on reinterpreting regional landscape DNA within contemporary spatial narratives, allowing each project to take root in its cultural and environmental context.

In architecture, he was a core team member in the conceptual design of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) headquarters. In landscape design, he led the redevelopment of the Lin Family Ancestral Shrine in Hsinchu, Taiwan, elegantly merging tradition with contemporary aesthetics. In product design, he initiated and oversaw the creation of the “PURROW” series of cat furniture, blending functional design with emotional resonance.

His works span architecture, landscape, and product design, characterized by a profound synthesis of regional identity and modern sensibility. His projects have received accolades including Top 3 recognition in the Shanghai East Bund Global Open Space Competition and an Honorable Mention in the UA International Concept Design Competition. Liang’s practice seeks to root each spatial experience in local culture while maintaining a global perspective, crafting works that are both grounded and forward-looking.
