Maria José Curado is Assistant Professor at Faculty of Sciences, University of Porto, in 1st, 2nd and 3th cicles of Landscape Architecture courses. Is a member of the Research Centre in Biodiversity and Genetic Resources developing its research in the field of landscape ecology, land use planning and landscape management.
Maria José has a degree in Landscape Architecture from ISA - Univ. Lisbon Technician (1994), Master in Planning and Urban Environment Project by FE / FA - Univ. Porto (1998) and PhD in Environmental Applied Sciences from Univ. Aveiro (2003).
Before joining the academic career, from 1994 to 2004, she developed the professional activity of Landscape Architecture in a liberal professional system.
