Cristina Imbroglini Architect, PhD, Associate professor at the Department of Architecture and Design, Sapienza, Rome ; Director of the Master's Degree Course in Landscape Architecture (Inter-University courses Sapienza - University of Tuscia) and teacher of Landscape Design in the Bachelor's Degree Course in Landscape and Environmental Planning and; Member of the teaching staff of the PhD in Landscape and Environment Sapienza. The research activity has always focused on landscape as a privileged field of design experimentation, in which the environmental variables constitute design materials, elements that actively collaborate in the spatial composition in a continuous comparison between ecological functioning and aesthetic perceptions. The landscape project has proven to be a working method particularly suited for intercepting and interpreting contemporary changes, triggering very different research, design experimentation and teaching themes.
