DYNAMICS OF RUMINANT WALKERS. AN INTEGRATION OF RURAL SYSTEMS FOR A NEW URBAN SPACE

Conflicts caused by the stagnation, for more than sixty years, in the legal regulation of the value of the soil of La Font del Gos, in conjunction with the definition of urban boundaries and the natural park of Collserola, have generated a resilient and undefined "neighbourhood" that survives thanks to its identity.
The proposal seeks the definition of these non-sites by a methodology that takes as its foundation the identity and
history of the territory developed from a materiality based on contemporary rural techniques.
We introduce the agricultural concept for the creation of identity hubs spots in order to generate contemporary gatherings; and livestock in the creation of paths linking hubs spots and transforming the urban space. We promote a dynamic network of footpaths that roots in Collserola following the footprints of the pastors and the signs given by the dynamics of vegetation (blossoming) that vary according to the time of year.
A non-permanent roaming that generates a new way of perceiving the landscape and traverses without causing
deterioration.
