Prof DSc. Ana Lucia Nogueira de Paiva Britto

She holds a degree in geography from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, a master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1990) and a doctorate in Urbanism from the Institut D'Urbanisme de Paris – Université de Paris XII (Paris-Val- de-Marne) (1995). He did postdoctoral work at LATTS – Laboratoire Techniques Territoires et Sociétés at the École Nationale de Ponts et Chaussées (2005-2006). She is an associate professor at the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism and PROURB – Graduate Program in Urbanism at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, where she joined in 1997, coordinator of LEAU, Laboratory of Urban Water Studies and researcher at the Observatório das Metrópoles, research group under the coordination of the Institute of Research and Urban Planning IPPUR-UFRJ. Scientist Researcher of Our State FAPERJ (2012-2014; 2015-2017; 2018-2020). She coordinates international cooperation projects on environmental sanitation management. She is project coordinator at ONDAS National Observatory of the Human Right to Water and Sanitation She has experience in the area of Urban and Regional Planning, with emphasis on Urban and Regional Infrastructures, working mainly on the following topics: urban services, environmental sanitation, urban water, environment urban environment, metropolitan management.
