DSc. (2017) in Urban and Regional Planning from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro with a double doctorate (co-tutelage) in Urban Economics from Universität Hamburg (Germany). She has a master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning (2010) from IPPUR / UFRJ and a degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the Federal University of Ceará (2003). Until December 2018, she worked as a professor at the Centro Universitário Belo Horizonte – UNIBH and at Instituto Methodista Isabela Hendrix in the Architecture and Urbanism course, teaching mainly in the disciplines of U.S. Local Planning; I. Consolidated Areas; I. Informal Areas, US: Landscape Studies, Atelier VII (large urban projects), Legal Bases (Urban Legislation), Production of Urban Space, Urbanism (Urban Theory) and GIS applied to architecture and Urbanism. She is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Graduate Program in Urbanism PROURB / UFRJ, Professor at Centro Universitários IBMEC and Substitute Professor at FAU-UFRJ. She has experience in field research and training with social movements, with an emphasis on Space Production, Housing, Environment and Urban and Regional Planning. Skills in quantitative analysis tools for social research (SPSS, R, SAS), Geographic Information Systems and Remote Sensing for environmental analysis. Currently, she develops research in the areas of housing, real estate market, environment and urban sustainability and Urban and Regional Planning.
