We would like to invite you to participate at the International Biennial of Landscape Architecture.

The Biennial express, since its first edition, the will of study and discuss the intervention in the landscape, both from landscape architecture as other disciplines that are linked to its study and evolution.

Once the Biennial consolidated at European level, after seven editions, "Remaking Landscapes" (1999), "insurgents Gardens" (2001), "Only nature" (2003), "Landscape: a product / production" (2006), Storm and Stress (2008), "Liquid Landscapes" (2010), "Biennial versus Biennial" (2012); in its last eight edition, the Biennale approached new landscape realities of the world, through the internationalization of its Landscape Prize Rosa Barba. With "A Landscape for You" (2014), and “Tomorrow Landscapes” (2016) Barcelona opened the international landscape, as it will do this coming September in its 10th edition.

The symposium will take place at the Petit Palau de la Música, between the 27th and the 28th September 2018. It will be formalized in these two days, during which there will be lectures, presentations of finalists for the Landscape Architecture " Rosa Barba" International Prize, presentations and panel discussions.

The organizers of the Biennial are both the Association of Architects of Catalonia and the Polytechnic University of Catalonia.

Once again, we open the call for the International Exhibition of University Projects in Schools of Architecture and Landscape. The organizing committee believes that the participation of the didactic works remarkably contributes to enrich the debate on the landscaping. For this reason, we would like you to accept our invitation to this call, providing the best university projects of your school.

It is in our best interest to stress the submission of those that you consider the most interesting projects of the last two years that can represent both works of investigation and design of your school.

This year, for the third time, will be launched the International Prize for University Projects thanks to Banc Sabadell Foundation. The winning University will choose one student to travel to Barcelona to attend the Intensive International Workshop

of the Landscape Architecture Master (UPC school). Bank Sabadell Foundation will cover the travel expenses and the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, the enrolling price.

A selection of these projects will be part of an exhibition, which will take place at the Technical School Superior of Architecture of Barcelona, from September 26th to October 19th, 2018. As well as in the past, the exhibition will move through several European universities.
