A new stage for reflection on landscape
The 13th International Landscape Biennial of Barcelona expands its horizons by incorporating a new meeting space: Piscina Barcelona. On November 17th and 18th, 2025, the fair organized by Fira de Barcelona will become one of the two main venues of the Biennial, alongside the traditional Palau de la Música Catalana.
This strategic alliance between the COAC and Fira de Barcelona responds to the natural evolution of Piscina Barcelona, which in recent years has increasingly incorporated landscape architecture, wellness, and outdoor environments into its proposal, establishing a direct link with landscape architecture.
A forward-looking collaboration
The agreement signed between both institutions aims to promote the design of sustainable, healthy outdoor spaces in dialogue with nature. The inclusion of the fair in the Biennial’s program strengthens this line of action and opens the debate on landscape to new related sectors such as wellness, outdoor design, and sustainable architecture.
As highlighted by Marina Cervera, Executive Director of the Biennial: "The Biennial is not only an international forum for reflection; it is also a bridge between disciplines and professionals who share the same sensitivity toward territory, urban ecology, and contemporary design."
