Anna McKeigue has an interdisciplinary background in Environmental and Urban Studies from Bard College and is currently pursuing her MLA at the City College of New York. Her current research focuses on tactics for participatory landscape to engage communities in understanding the dynamic and interrelated systems of our everyday ecologies. She is interested in investigating how the tools that we use shape our understanding of landscape and the production and sharing of knowledge. Anna aspires to develop alternative approaches to civic engagement that promote a more complex idea of ecology and advocate for social and environmental equity and inclusion.
