Kavita’s endeavor as a Landscape Architect is towards solutions that enhance ecological and biodiversity richness, enable communities to come together in mutually supportive and enriching spaces, strengthening the human and nature relationship, towards the shared goal of ecological integrity and life affirming sustainable development.
Kavita served as an external jury member for the final evaluation of the undergraduate Landscape program, University of Moratuwa, Colombo, Srilanka, for 5 years, and has served as visiting faculty, jury and delivered lectures on blue green infrastructure approach, in some architecture colleges in India.
For the last 3 years, her firm has been engaged with forest restoration projects in Gurgaon, as part of her pledge to be ‘Generation restoration’ towards implementing on ground actions for climate resilience
