Louisa King is a landscape architect currently completing a PhD at RMIT University. Her research explores the potential post-representation thought for landscape practice. In applying critical materialist attention to the global, distributed influences of climate change, her recent study examines the role of design within landscapes of extreme climatic conditions. Her most recent project engages key climate institutions such as the Australian Antarctic Division; the projects explore the collaborative potential of climate and environmental science and landscape design in the context of extreme landscapes.
