Sen Liu, born in 1981, is the deputy director of Faculty of Landscape Architecture, School of Architecture, Qingdao Technological University, the director of E2Lab, master's tutor. Mr. Liu is also a registered senior landscape architect, senior member of the Chinese Society of Landscape Architecture, national outstanding landscape architect, young member of the China Urban Economy Association Ecological Livable Committee, and an advanced virtual reality designer. His personal design has won more than ten awards: Gold Prize in 2014 Professional Design Award -- Waterfront Ecological Landscape Planning and Design of Weishui, Longxi, Shanxi Province; Gold Prize in 2015 “YUAN YE Award” Fine Landscape Design Award -- Landscape Design of Chinese Navy etc.. More than one hundred national, provincial and municipal engineering design projects designed by Mr. Liu have been widely acclaimed.
Students who major in Landscape Architecture won consecutive awards at all levels of landscape architecture competitions at home and abroad based on the instruction of Mr. Liu’s actual design project. Best Design Performance Award and Earth Care Award for the 9th National College Landscape Design Graduation Exhibition in 2013; Highest award - Design Honor Award of the 10th National College Landscape Design Graduation Exhibition in 2014 and the 11th in 2015; Jury Awards (ranked World No. 4) and Excellence Award (ranked 7th in the world) for Landscape Design Competition of the 51st IFLA International Landscape Architects Association in 2014; Top Awards for the "YUAN YE Award" International Landscape Architecture Competition in 2014, 2015 and 2016; Top Awards for the “IDEA-KING” International Landscape Design Competition in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2015, 2016 and 2017; Five works won the International Honor Award in 2015 IFLA Asia-Pacific International Landscape Architecture Competition.
