HUANG Wenjing, sòcia fundadora d'OPEN Architecture, Kenzo Tange Design Critic in Architecture a la Harvard University Graduate School of Design, professor visitant a la Tsinghua University, China Central Academy of Fine Arts, i la Universitat de Hong Kong. Huang va rebre el seu B. Arch. de la Universitat de Tsinghua el 1996, i el seu M. Arch. de la Universitat de Princeton el 1999. És arquitecta amb llicència a l'estat de Nova York i membre de l'AIA. Abans d'OPEN, HUANG era un dissenyador sènior i associat a la firma amb seu a Nova York Pei Cobb Freed and Partners.
HUANG Wenjing i LI Hu van cofundar OPEN a la ciutat de Nova York el 2006 i van establir l'oficina de l'estudi a Pequín el 2008. Alguns projectes importants d'OPEN inclouen: UCCA Dune Art Museum, Chapel of Sound, Sun Tower, Tank Shanghai, Shanfeng Academy, Shanghai Qingpu Pinghe International School, Pingshan Performing Arts Center, Tsinghua Ocean Center, Garden School/Beijing No.4 High School Fangshan Campus, i Gehua Youth and Cultural Center.
