Project manager, urban renewal projects, City of Oslo, 1981-84. Landscape architect, Asplan Prosjekt, Oslo, 1984-86. Founder, owner (with Jostein Bjørbekk) and project director, Bjørbekk & Lindheim Landscape Architects, Oslo, 1986-. Professor, Institute of Landscape Architecture and Spatial Planning, Norwegian University of Life Sciences, since 1996. As practicing landscape architect, has particularly worked with and directed large urban transformation projects (former airport, hospital, industrial sites) and urban parks, urban spaces, housing areas and school grounds. Jury chairman and member of juries for competitions. Wide editorial experience. Author of the good Back Yard, 1987; The New Oslo, 1987; Noise baffles in Oslo, 1995; School yards in Oslo, 1999.
