Claude Courtecuisse, art designer, teacher, lives and works in Lille and Paris. A graduate in applied arts from Paris and the ENS (Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan), he became a teacher at the Ecole Régionale des Beaux-Arts in Lille between 1970 and 1987, for which he was responsible from 1987 to 1989. He was a member of the technical committee of the FRAC Nord Pas de Calais from 1982 to 1989. Professor and educational advisor at the Ecole Camondo from 1988 to 2007, he was an associate professor at the Ecole Olivier de Serre (Paris) from 1994 to 2001 and taught at the E.N.S Cachan. As an artist, photographer, sculptor and designer, he carried out public commissions for the Ministry of Culture and several of his works were acquired by the Museum of Modern Art in Villeneuve-d'Ascq, the Georges Pompidou Centre, the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris, the Frac Nord-Pas-de-Calais and the Museum of the Pool in Roubaix.
