Folly Forest _ a dance floor for 100 trees
Dietmar Straub and Anna Thurmayr are Professors in the Department of Landscape Architecture, University of Manitoba. They have had the opportunity of dealing with a diverse range of assignments in their careers, in very different places, sites and countries - both as teachers and as landscape architects. They have been tackling gardens and landscapes as experimental grounds for innovation and improvisation, and they are embarking on a search for expression in open space design that falls between the adventurous and the everyday.
