
Gaetano Selleri, architect and landscape designer, is founding member and project coordinator of PAN Associati (www.panassociati.it), based in Milan.
The area of research and interest is particularly focused on the transformation of the city through the landscape, seeking a new relationship between man, city and nature.
He has designed parks, gardens, landscape works, environmental mitigation of infrastructures such as motorways and railways, sewage plants, urban requalification of the streetscape of historical centers, besides architectural work such as housing, public buildings, restoration of historical buildings.
The construction of large-scale urban infrastructure, aims at fighting climate change, and public engagement are typical activities, complementing landscape design and restoration.
Some notable works of landscape: Expo Milano 2015, Jinshan Marina Masterplan (Shanghai), New Motorway North of Milan, New Treatment Plant in Trento, War World I Park/Museum in Stelvio National Park, Museum of water alpine ecosystems in Gran Paradiso National Park.
He is winner of landscape and urban design competitions and his projects have been published in many technical and scientific magazines.
