Jacqueline Osty was born in 1954 in Casablanca (Morocco). A graduate of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure du Paysage de Versailles, where she obtained her degree in 1982. She also completed a second cycle of studies in Architecture at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts-UP4. After a few freelance works, she founded her own office in 1985. From 1995 to 1998 she was a teacher at the Paris-Conflans School of Architecture and the Ecole Nationale du Paysage in Versailles. In 2000, Harvard University invited her as a professor for the second semester. Since 2004 she has been a teacher at the National School of Nature et du Paysage de Blois (France). Jacqueline Osty collaborates with renowned designers, technicians and specialists in the field of lighting, engineering, scenography, visual arts. In addition to the accomplishments and projects carried out by the office, she is sought after by architets and planners on issues of landscape and urban projects. Winner of the French Prize "Prix de l'Amenagement urbain", in the category of parks and gardens in 1994 and the Landscape Award 2005 with the Parc de Sant Pere d'Amiens. Jacqueline Osty is increasingly sought after for her work, where heritage and urban and environmental concerns are fully integrated with project design. The structure was expanded in 2006 and became the Atelier Jacqueline Osty & Associés. Based in Paris, the Atelier has established itself as a leading practice with a team of 18 people. This team is made up of multiple talents who are involved in the fields of landscape, public space and town planning.
