The "Museum of the Past" was one of eleven winning projects of the 14th Garden Festival in Ponte de Lima (Portugal) with the topic "Climate in the Garden". The project views a drastic, but very likely to happen created environment, with which we want to  make people aware of the current situation of our real natural environment.

All over the world natural habitats are declining in size, quality as well as quantity. It even might lead to a complete extinction of several habitats and shifts in climate zones. This trend of negative change relies on our non-sustainable lifestyle, which is orientated on consumption rather that prevention. Our project symbolises this worst-case scenario, that might happen to our blue planet. A world withouse any existing natural environments. Black soil, gravel and stones. Burned and cleared trees No existing life. The once existing climate zone with ther characteristic vegetation: desert, tropical rainforest and boreal forest. Let's visit it and show your children how it once looked! The garden was exhibited in 2018 from may until october, maybe a reuse of the construction is possible to arrange.
