CARRERS NUCLI ANTIC DE CASTELLBISBAL

L’actuació és la segona fase del projecte de transformació urbana del nucli antic de Castellbisbal. La intervenció se centra en la reurbanització de tres carrers amb amplades inferiors a quatre metres i amb característiques molt diferents dins el nucli antic.

Als tres carrers s’ha transformat la secció a plataforma única i s’han renovat els serveis urbans.

Al carrer d’Orient i a la plaça del Joc, a més, s’hi han creat unes petites places conformades per una seqüencia de grades jardineres per adaptar els desnivells i introduir elements de vegetació.

Al tram final del carrer de Sant Marc s’hi han disposat elements urbans per aprofitar l’espai com a plaça mirador.

Com en la primera fase, el paviment és comú a totes les actuacions. És un element neutre i estàndard que permet cosir la trama del nucli antic i, conjuntament amb la sistematització de la secció i dels materials, aconseguir una imatge que identifiqui el nucli antic.

STREETS IN CASTELLBISBAL’S OLD TOWN CENTRE

The action corresponds to phase two of the urban transformation project of Castellbisbal’s old town centre. The intervention is focused on redesigning three streets in the old quarter that are less than four metres wide and have quite different features.

The section of the three streets has been changed to a shared surface (no kerbs or change of level) and the urban services have been renewed.

Furthermore, some small spaces have been created in Carrer d’Orient and Plaça del Joc that are made up of a platform-flower bed sequence, in order to adapt to the different levels and add vegetation.

In the final stretch of Carrer de Sant Marc urban elements have been placed to use the space as a square-observation point.

As in phase one, the same paving has been used in all the actions. It is a neutral and standard element that links the layout of the old town centre and, together with the systematisation of the section and materials, it creates an image that identifies the old quarter.
