UNITEDLAB is New York & Seoul based studio for architecture, landscape, and urbanism. Since registered in NYC in 2015, and Seoul in 2016 by Sang Dae Lee, we are a collaborating design studio which has designed for a range of typologies, from a $4,000 pavilion (750 sf) to a $12 million community of 48 units townhouse (159,340 sf), to a 607-acre regeneration park and an 8,155-acre urban visionary plan. Our multi-disciplined approach reflects our belief that diverse perspectives enable a broader view that guides the design process and enriches creative insight. UNITEDLAB is passionate about understanding how the rich interplay of society and ideology has shaped the built environment, and in turn, how the shaped environment affects its inhabitants. Our work endeavors to confront a future with limited resources and seeks ways to implement social, environmental, and economical sustainability through beautiful, well-crafted design.
