Marco Rampini

Marco Rampini attended school in Geneva, then trained as an architect at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, where he graduated in 1990 with Professor Roger Diener. In 1990, he began his professional career at the Jean-Jacques Oberson architectural studio in Geneva. Between 1999 and 2001, he completed postgraduate studies (DES) in "Architecture and Landscape" at the University of Geneva's Institute of Architecture, under the guidance of Professors Georges Descombes and Michel Corajoud.
In 2000, Marco Rampini founded the Atelier Descombes Rampini with Julien Descombes.
He was a visiting professor at the University of Geneva's Institute of Architecture (IAUG) from 2004 to 2006, and at EPFL's Department of Architecture in 2010. He is a regular guest lecturer at
EPFL and the Geneva School of Engineering, Landscape and Architecture (HEPIA) for student projects and diploma courses.
