A new stage for landscape reflection
The XIII Barcelona International Landscape Biennial expands its horizons by incorporating a new meeting space: Piscina Barcelona. On November 17 and 18, 2025, the trade fair organized by Fira de Barcelona will become one of the two main venues of the Biennial, alongside the traditional Palau de la Música Catalana.
This strategic alliance between COAC and Fira de Barcelona responds to the natural evolution of Piscina Barcelona, which in recent years has prominently incorporated landscaping, wellness and outdoor environments into its proposal, establishing a direct link with landscape architecture.
A collaboration with a vision for the future
The agreement signed between both institutions aims to promote the design of sustainable, healthy outdoor spaces in dialogue with nature. The incorporation of the trade fair into the Biennial's programming reinforces this line of action and opens the landscape debate to new related sectors such as wellness, outdoor design and sustainable architecture.
As Marina Cervera, Executive Director of the Biennial, highlights: "The Biennial is not only an international forum for reflection; it is also a bridge between disciplines and professionals who share the same sensitivity towards territory, urban ecology and contemporary design".
