Rosa Barba Finalist 7

The written garden 'gardens of the world'

Relais Landschaftsarchitekten was founded by Heck Gero and Marianne Mommsen in Berlin in 2001. Both studied landscape architecture at the University of Hanover. The office is involved in the development of numerous public space projects in Europe, such as the temporary transformation of the Berlin Schlossareal wall. Its approach to the landscape is characterized by the purist and humanistic treatment of it. Projects are often sober, but full of meaning and valuable experience. Marianne Mommsen teaches at the University of Stuttgart. Heck Gero has been a professor at the Technical University of Berlin, University of Art Berlin and at the University of Hanover.
