Graduated from the Barcelona School of Architecture in 1970, he founded an architectural studio in 1971 together with J. Ardèvol, P. Aixas, J. Laviña, P. De la Villa and J. Urgell, obtaining the FAD Architecture Prize in 1976, the National Town Planning Prize in 1979 and the FAD Restoration Prize in 1982. With J. Laviña, P. De la Villa, and J. Urgell, works are selected for the FAD awards for architecture in 1989 and 1991 as well as for the DELTA ADIFAD awards in 1990. With J. Montero, X. Vendrell, and M. Ruisánchez, they are finalists in the FAD awards of the architecture of 1987. Together with X. Casas, they received the FAD Award for Urban Spaces in 1999. He is a finalist for the first Rosa Barba European Landscape Prize, wins an Award of Excellence from the European Chapter of the American Institute of Architects and is a finalist in the V Biennial of Spanish Architecture.
