Studied Territorial Planning at the University of Dortmund. She took state examinations in Town Planning and had administrative experience in Tanzania and Germany. Since 2003 has worked at the Chair for Town and Regional Planning at the TU in Munich. She is a member of the SRL and the German Academy for Town and Country Planning.
