Studied economics at the Fernuniversität Hagen. 1990-1992 stayed in Italy and France. 1995 - 1999 worked at GOEP, since 1999 at RMP Architects. 2001 joined the RMP Landscape Architects Association. Since 2004 owner of RMP Stephan Lenzen landscape architects. 2004 - 2007 member of the design advisory board of the city of Cologne. Since 2006 member of the expert committee of the Chamber of Architects of North Rhine-Westphalia. In 2009 and 2010 he worked as a lecturer in the course of the study program Redevelopment / Design and Management at RWTH International Academy Aachen. Since 2013 member of the design advisory board of the city of Aachen. In 2014, Stephan Lenzen was appointed Vice President of the Federation of German Landscape Architects (BDLA). Since 2015 member of the design advisory board of the city of Mainz. Since 2015 professor at the University of Applied Sciences Dortmund, Department of Architecture / Urbanism. Since 2016 member of the design advisory boards of Trier and Neuss as well as the scientific advisory board of the German Corporation for Urban and Real Estate Development. Stephan Lenzen lives in Cologne.
