Exploring a way to solve global problems with sustainable landscapes.

Students are required to take a problem-oriented approach and explore sustainable landscapes in combination with current global issues such as climate change, food security, desertification, and the extinction of species diversity.

The proposed ideas should include the concept that has the value of aesthetics, functions, ecology, culture, heritage, economic, and morals.In addition, it should representational, communicational, motivational, and tackling of unsustainable practices and problems manifested in human cities..

The design content should be based on the detailed site investigation, applying to the creation of novel spaces and the improvement of their management, leading towards a meaningful and sustainable approach.

The design must show a reflective and innovative approach, which demonstrates how values and identity are imbued to the designed space, and the chosen strategy for the project execution.

Freely decide the background, location and scale of the project, and choose the right venue according to the global outstanding issues depicted by the theme. The goal of the design is to cultivate the health of the human ecosystem and the natural ecosystem, close the material and resource cycle, and at the same time respect the nutrients and water cycle.
