¨TRAMA,¨ or ¨Plot¨ in English, is a landscape intervention within the town of Olba, located in Teruel, Spain. The project is based upon a sensory analysis, later supported by a historic, visual and topographic evaluation which helped determine the specific points in the landscape to intervene. The proposal itself seeks to highlight and reactivate spaces with   historic character and value for the community, through elements that enhance the existing landscape and in turn define the very transitions that comprise it.

Trama is a story with a beginning, middle, and an open ending. The project interventions are structured much like a story. The elements located along the roadway entering the town serve as the introduction, offering the first points of interaction with the territory. Pausing to reflect, one observes the town and the surrounding landscape from afar. The plot of the story then begins to unfold as one enters the windy streets of Olba, losing oneself, only to discover the essence of the town and its surroundings. The structures placed in and around the town indirectly guide the user towards an open ending where one is presented with multiple opportunities to continue the story. Always turning around and contemplating the route taken, observing the placement of the different project elements in the territory, the user is provided with a deeper understanding of Olba. Upon each return, one is met with a different story, because Olba, its landscape, and its people are in constant evolution.
