Waterfront in urban enviroment. Rezekne river promenade

This project is one of the possible scenarios for development of the Rezekne river located in Rezekne city. Rezekne is a city in Latvia and is placed in the eastern part of the country in the center of the Latgale region. City is crossed by international roads, with routes to Riga, Moscow, St Petersburg and Warsaw. The Rezekne River is an important green corridor that crosses the city towards the west and has the potential to be a great place for recreation with the presence of nature in the heart of the city.
Currently, this potential is being used in a small part of the river, where a promenade has been created along the right bank of the river. Improvement of city infrastructure also requires further development of recreational facilities along the river.
