The Danish landscapearchitect office 1:1 LANDSKAB, owned by Jacob Kamp and Trine Trydeman, designs and creates aesthetic, functional and environmentally robust landscapes and urban spaces, always with people and end users in focus. Relying on feedback from clients as well as collaborators within the past 15 years, we have become known as an ambitious, honest and professional landscape and urban design advisor.
We are convinced that uniting the pragmatic functions with poetic layers, the classical heritage with the innovative ideers and the environmentally durable with the eye cathing design, pushes end solutions towards best value for our clients and users. We are highly experienced in creating landscapes and urban design within the fields of culturel institutions, urban spaces, schools, public as well as private housing and coorporate companies. Having worked within the urban fabric for many years we have become especially trained in handling citizens and end user involvment, recognizing that asking the right questions gives the projects and clients the most precise and robust solutions.
We have been aware of the climate agenda for many years. To us working environmentally with climate adaption and biodiversity in our projects is therefore not an add-on, but to a much greater extend a completely natural and basic point of view in all our projects - small as well as large scale.
We approach each project with creativity and pragmatic point of views. We work in smaller teams ensuring that all project aspects is takin into consideration. We combine our different skills and experiences to ensure that each project reaches its best potential meanwhile adding best value for the project owner. This is a work method that has given our office recognition in nummerous magazines and books as well as satisfied clients that keep wanting us on board new projects.
The office owners, Jacob Kamp and Trine Trydeman, offer both wide and in-depth experience within all fases of project management, from concept development, supervising construction management on site and delivery to the project owner. Besides the experience working together as company owners within the past 15 years, both Trine and Jacob have demonstrated great experience from earlier employment at larger private architectural and landscape designstudioes, nationally as well as internationally. The people working at 1:1 Landskab have profesional qualifications and background from University of Copenhagen, The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts Schools of Architecture, Design and Conservation. This interdisciplinary setup ensures key experience within all aspects of any given project.
