Lilia Pagano

Lilia Pagano is an architect and full professor of Architectural and Urban Design. She graduated in Naples in 1984 and, in 1988, was awarded a research scholarship at the Urbanism Laboratory of ETSAB, directed by Manuel de Solà-Morales. In 1990, she was among the winners of the Luigi Cosenza Architecture Award, and in 1992, she earned a PhD in Architectural Composition.

She teaches at the University of Naples "Federico II", within the DIARC degree programs, the PhD program in Architecture, and the Riscape Master's program (Risk Landscapes). She is also the Naples coordinator for the Villard International Seminar.

She has provided scientific consultancy for public institutions on major urban projects in Naples, including:

  • The industrial area and suburbs in the Variant to the General Regulatory Plan (PRG)

  • The Bagnoli-Coroglio redevelopment project

  • Manifattura Tabacchi

  • Parco delle Colline

  • The Port of Naples
