The competition was won by an Temporary Association of Enterprises (ATI), a temporary grouping of six professionals with diverse experience and skills. The name chosen by the grouping for participation in the competition is FLÂNERIE.
LUIGINO PIROLA (Group Leader) is a freelance architect and landscape architect. He works for public and private clients. He teaches Applied Landscape Ecology at the Universities of Genoa and Bergamo. Former national president of AIAPP, he is owner of Studio SAP.
ATI members in alphabetical order
ELENA FRANCHIONI is an architect specialised in the restoration of Architectural Heritage and Landscape at the SSBAP in Milan. She works as a freelance professional in the public and private sector and collaborates with the National Trust for Italy (FAI).
GIANLUCA GELMINI is an architect with a doctorate in architectural composition and specialization in monument restoration. He founded the CN10Architetti studio in 2004, an architectural office active in the field of reuse of existing heritage.
MARIOLA PERETTI is an “urban thinker” architect, with postgraduate specialization in medieval and modern art history. A freelancer, she is involved in urban policies promoting cultural initiatives at various levels. She is a member of Peretti Associated Studio, together with her brother CARLO PERETTI, who participates in the ATI as a structural engineer expert in safety.
SIMONE ZENONI is a landscape architect. He works as a freelancer, in public and private sectors collaborating with different professionals in the field of landscape design. He is currently president of the Lombardy section of AIAPP.
