A New Wildness: An open and aggregated zoo for the Yangtze finless porpoise

An open and aggregated zoo for the Yangtze finless porpoise
- Open and aggregated
- Zoo as conservation
- Boundary as landscape as infrastructure
In terms of conservation by design, the design research project will challenge the paradigm of ‘nature reserve’ and explore a new wilderness for the Yangtze Finless Porpoise through the scopes of ‘wildness’, ‘openness’ and ‘aggregated territory’. The design outcome would become an open and aggregated zoo as an alternative for the existing conservation..
