CONSTRUYENDO LINDES-BUINDING BOUNDARIES
The massive occupation of the territory by the greenhouses and the great changes suffered over the years, have made the current landscape much different from the original. This has caused problems not only by talking about functionality but also at the territorial level; however, this project aims to value this new landscape built by providing solutions and scale to the main problem of disorderly occupation of the territory and the non-respect for keeping the borders between greenhouses.
Located on the northwest edge of La Balsa del Sapo in the "Plastic Sea" in Almería, on an empty plain surrounded by greenhouses, it is proposed to recover the original boundaries of the territory belonging to 1956 and build them creating a new interpretation of the concept of greenhouse making it habitable. The main factor of this project will be the use of next-generation hydroponic crops as opposed to the traditional cultivation of the area. The whole set will form a self-sustaining infrastructure that will be immersed in the environment.
