curriculum vitae _ Maria Marlanti
Maria Marlanti is an architect, graduate of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) Landscape Architect and an Assistant Professor at the School of Architecture of the NTUA.
Since 2004, she has been teaching Architectural Design, in the Department I.
She has a Master Degree of Landscape Architecture, of a two-year postgraduate program on Landscape Architecture, at the ETSAB, UPC in Barcelona.
From 1995 to 2001 she worked in Spain, in collaboration with ETSAB, on landscape and urban design projects.
The past six years, she has been participating in the Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Program Architecture – Spatial design, run by the School of Architecture of the NTUA, teaching Architectural Composition of Landscape: Natural and Cultural Qualities in Landscape Design.
From 2018 to 2020 she has teached undergraduate and postgraduate courses at the Schools of Architecture ETSAS (Seville, Spain), UNAM (Mexico City, Mexico), UFPE (Recife, Brazil).
She has taken part in several research projects in Greece and abroad.
She has been working as a freelance architect on her own and also in collaboration, since 2001. The realized architectural work includes residential buildings and public space projects.
She has taken part in Greek and international architectural competitions and has been awarded prizes and special distinctions. Her work has been published and exhibited.
