He is currently a professor, doctoral supervisor, and master supervisor of the School of Architecture and Urban Planning of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, a member of the Theoretical History Committee and a member of the Cultural Landscape Committee of the Chinese Society of Landscape Architecture. Mainly engaged in research in the field of landscape architecture history and theory. He is the author of "Modern Chinese Gardens: Historical and Theoretical Research" (2014), "Ting Yin" (2019), and successively served as the editorial board member of "History of Modern Chinese Gardens" and "Nanxun Modern Gardens".
