TIANQUAN COUNTY URBAN ECOLOGICAL ENVIRONMENT COMPREHENSIVE TREATMENT PROJECT

The project is located in the northeast of Tianquan County, Yaan City, Sichuan Province. It is the "Han-Tibet Gateway" on the 318 National Highway, the most beautiful highway in China. It is a major livelihood reconstruction project after the earthquake . The design transformed the ground fissure into the water system, formed the self-purified wetland park, committed to "green reconstruction" in natural disaster sensitive areas. By constructing biological reservoirs and constructed wetlands, the first water ecological natural purification wetland park in Sichuan-Tibet line is established to increase the urban water elasticity, effectively alleviate the urban heat island effect, and improve the regional microclimate.also. 7 refuge spaces are set to encounter the public emergency as earthquake and epidemic.

Create a example of typical fragile ecological restoration and protection in western Sichuan. This project organically combines landscape lakes and the function of drainage control and storage to create habitats for animals and plants. And it continues to focus on ecological safety, conduct in-depth research and analysis on improving the climate environment and ecosystem, build the original habitat of vegetation, provide wildlife migration corridors, increase 6 kinds of drupes and berry plants to attract birds, set up layered vegetation along the lake shoreline, creating a natural habitat closer to wild birds and providing bird habitat. The total number of migratory birds that lives in winter increased by about 15%. At the same time, the aquatic-marsh-wet-mesophyte community zone is formed by using aquatic plant communities, intercepting surface rainwater, and discharged into Cilang Lake after purification. The project focuses on the harmonious coexistence of people and nature, and aims to encourage residents to participate in public life, combined with the creation of ecological green spaces, realize the restoration and rebirth of urban space and social relations, and ingeniously refine the four natural water forms of lakes, streams, streams and ponds to form four types of hydrophilic life scenes and consumption scenes. And it makes a variety o characteristic activity spaces bring the infinite living atmosphere to the venue. Accomplished with the Cilang temple, this project will activate the historical and cultural heritage.

After the completion of the project, it has achieved double benefits. In terms of economic benefits, it has successfully held cultural and Creative Festival, marathon, Sicilian-Tibet tour and other activities, which have become a spiritual home for people to move forward after the disaster and an important link in the regional Eco-tourism economic corridor. Tourism revenue has increased by 34.76% year on year, and the residents' happiness index has been gradually improved.In terms of ecological benefits, the total number of migratory birds in winter habitat increased by about 15% year on year, the corridor of plant and animal habitat was restored, and the regional biodiversity increased by about 30%.
