RE-ACTING TO PLACE: INDIVIDUAL INVESTIGATIONS INTO THE PERFORMANCE OF LANDSCAPE
Individual Landscape Portfolio
University of Edinburgh
Edinburgh School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture presents five projects by graduating students on the Master of Landscape Architecture programme.
Forming the culminating studio of the two-year programme, each project is self-directed, with sites and lines of investigation chosen by each student. As a result, the work explores a fascinating diversity of research topics and design methods in locations across Europe.
Under the guidance of tutors Lisa MacKenzie and Elinor Scarth, the work draws on ideologies of current significance in the school. All projects demonstrate a sensitivity to place, combined with a critical understanding of contemporary landscape theory and practice.
