1988-1992 Admitted to Department of Landscape Architecture, Specialty of Landscape Architecture in Beijing Forestry University; Graduated and received BLA.
1992-1997 Directed by the academician, Prof. Meng Zhaozhen, Graduated from School of Landscape Architecture, Beijing Forestry University and Received Doctorate of Engineering Became the first Chinese PHD of Landscape Architecture.
1998-2000 Entered the Postdoctoral Station in School of Architecture, Tsinghua University, Directed by the Academician, Prof. Wu Liangyong, Studied on Creative Chinese Landscape design under the Theoretical Frame System of human Study.
2000-Today Teaching in School of Architecture, Tsinghua University. Established Zhu Yufan Studio in Beijing Tsinghua Tongheng Urban Planning & Design Institute
2003-2004 Visiting Scholar in School of Architecture, Rome University, Gave Special Lectures in Rome and Florence.
2005-2006 Visiting Scholar in MIT SPURS, Gave Special Lectures in MIT, Harvard GSD and La Facultad De Arquitctura, Unversidad Nacional Autonoma De Mexcio.
2008 PHD Supervisor in Landscape Design Study, School of Architecture, Tsinghua University.

1995 the Entry “Tour of The Life----Tourism Landscape Planning & Design of ‘Ten Ferries’” Won the First Prize (Tourism Authority of Thailand Prize) of Design in the International Students Competition sponsored by UNESCO1, IFLA and Tourism Authority of Thailand at the 32nd IFLA World Congress convoked in Bangkok, Thailand.
1996 work “The Growth Mark of Lhasa city----Limit, Scotoma, Growth Ring” Won the First Prize at the International Students Competition of the 8th IFLA Eastern Regional Conference in Hong Kong.
