King Salamn University
The Landscape Architecture Term Project focuses on strategic landscape adaptation projects in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, as part of the national strategic plan endorsed by local authorities. Each student group will select a maximum of 2 feddans from a 10-feddan site to develop innovative landscape designs that enhance ecological, aesthetic, and recreational aspects while promoting sustainability and tourism. The project emphasizes cultural integration and community engagement, aiming to reflect the region's heritage and involve local stakeholders. Students will conduct site analyses, including SWOT assessments and detailed landscape designs, culminating in a portfolio documenting their weekly progress. This initiative not only provides practical experience but also contributes to the sustainable growth and beautification of Sharm el-Sheik.
