Making space in Dalston

Johanna Gibbons is a Fellow of the Landscape Institute and founding partner J & L Gibbons established in 1986. She is an advisor to English Heritage, the Forestry Commission, and the Mayor of London. Her practice concerns heritage, green infrastructure and urban regeneration through a deliberative planning process. Liza Fior studied architecture and practises as one of the founding partners of muf architecture/art. The work of the practice negotiates between the built and social fabric and between public and private projects. Liza has taught at the Architectural Association, The Royal College of Art and Yale. Johanna and Liza were born in London, raised in the same neighbourhood, and have worked together in an uncompromisingly collaborative way over several years.
