Project Vision:
Lake Kaniere will be a place where the growth of the lakeside settlements, recreation, tourism and the natural environment evolve in a harmonious way with minimal impacts put on the landscape. This proposal will ensure that Lake Kaniere is a destination that proudly promotes its pristine natural landscape and the
endless recreational activities it offers.
The primary goal of the project is to sustainably manage the growing demands of lakeside tourism and development at Hans Bay, Lake Kaniere to ensure that the pristine natural character is protected from adverse environmental effects.
