Main proposes of the project:
Enhancement of the natural and cultural heritage of the rural landscape and urban fringes in the area between the Sanctuary and the nearby town of Viana do Alentejo.
Enhancement of the landscape as a whole and regarding the sanctuary as its main element and prominente building;
Nature, lansdcape and cultural values conservation and improvement
Designing of trails to connect the sanctuary with Viana and other places in the sorroundings with interest on account of their landscape and natural and cultural heritage, to promote leisure, recreation and didactic use, as well as the design of rest and recreation areas.
