Master Degree

Landscape Architecture

Sapienza

The degree program aims to train landscape designers capable of addressing the complexity of contemporary ecological, cultural, economic, and social challenges, positioning them fully within the international context. This broad discipline encompasses skills in landscape design at the urban and regional scale, the restoration of historic parks and gardens, the recovery and regeneration of degraded or at-risk landscapes, climate adaptation tools, the design of agricultural, forestry, and environmental systems, and the planning and management of protected natural areas.

Through a strong interdisciplinary component, with monographic and integrated courses in botany, ecology, forestry, geomorphology, aesthetics, landscape criticism, representation, history, and environmental design, the course equips students to combine science and art and provide concrete answers to the most urgent and pressing challenges.

The interdisciplinary Studio of landscape Design, Planning, and Restoration and the international workshops  foster a concrete, experimental approach that allows students to apply the knowledge and skills acquired to specific contexts, engaging with environmental and social realities.

The program, with both an Italian and English curriculum, is a point of reference for Italian and international students from around the world, fostering opportunities for cultural exchange.

The results in terms of student satisfaction and post-graduate employment are highly satisfactory and constantly growing.
