Linnahall is a Soviet-era relic built for the 1980 Olympics.  Currently, the site sits nearly vacant falling into disrepair but remains a popular place to visit, hangout or view the Baltic sea. This ‘project looks at commemorating the site’s history and cultural significance but also allowing the Baltic sea to reclaim portions of the site and to begin the transition into a seaside heritage park.   At the same time focusing on decreasing the vulnerability of Linnahall and surrounding areas by increasing the resilience from storm surge and sea level rise through natural system design.
