Robel Steffan was born in 1972 in Pirmasens, Germany. After studying landscape architecture at the TU in Berlin and at the International Argrarische Hoogeschool Larenstein (NL), he received his degree in 1999 in Berlin advised from Professor Loidl. He was a professor of landscape architecture at TU Dresden from 2004 to 2008 and lectured at Anhalt High School in Dessau in 2011. In 2005, Robel Steffan founded the A24 Landschaft office in partnership with the architect Joaquin SwiIlus. Since 2011 he has been the only administrator of the office. A24 Landschaft focuses on national and international landscape architecture projects within urban environments. He is a member of many juries and design advisory boards. In addition to numerous other awards, A24 Landschaft was aknowledged at the Landscape Architecture Prize 2011 for the Mangfall Park.
